The San Diego offices of AKT LLP are looking for partner track managers. This is a tremendous opportunity for the right individuals. We are seeking entrepreneurial individuals with demonstrated technical, leadership and management skills.
AKT is a growing regional west coast CPA accounting and management consulting firm. The San Diego offices began in 1949 as Grice Lund and Tarkington. The firm has grown to include offices in Salem and Portland, Oregon, Anchorage, Alaska and India. Our staff of over 200 professionals specialize in providing tax, auditing, accounting and management consulting services to several industries including telecommunications, construction, public sector organizations, healthcare, agriculture, manufacturing and business services.

Duties and Responsibilities
You are expected to have the technical skills necessary to be able to review and teach staff. Additionally, you will be expected to have an instrumental role in client consultation and strategic planning. We expect you to be able to think analytically, identify issues, but much more importantly, you must be able to provide options, opportunities and solutions. Our clientele consists of entrepreneurial businesses, high net worth individuals, as well as leading not-for-profit and healthcare organizations.
To Qualify
Minimum qualifications include:
- Certified Public Accountant or licensed JD.
- Four to seven years of professional experience.

Proven ability to effectively manage (or lead) people and consult with clients.

Knowledge of applicable rules, regulations and compliance.
Desired attributes include:
- Strong leadership, marketing, management and communication skills.

Knowledge and understanding of business practices and accounting principles.
