AKT LLP is seeking a senior level Audit Manager with demonstrated audit, leadership and management skills. Duties and Responsibilities
The Audit Manager will work with our audit department and will be responsible for reviewing all financial statements and footnotes for accuracy. He/She will also train and mentor staff.
The Audit Manager must possess professional knowledge of accounting and auditing standards, and have the ability to think analytically. He/She should also have strong oral and written communication skills in order to dearly communicate updates, results and recommendations to staff.
To Qualify
Minimum qualifications include:

Bachelors degree in Accounting or related business discipline.

Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in California or state of residence.

Proven ability to effectively motivate, supervise and review audit staff.

At least 7 years audit experience, nonprofit, governmental and healthcare experience preferred.

Knowledge and understanding of business, accounting and auditing principles and practices.
