It is our intent to protect your information under the US Department of Commerce Safe Harbor requirements (“Safe Harbor”) and to provide security that is compliant with our high industry standard. Information We Collect In order to use the services of any of the AKT GROUP OF COMPANIES, it is expected that you will voluntarily submit certain personal information about you, including information provided under the consent forms required by Internal Revenue Code Section 7216, where applicable. This information may include such information as your name, address, e-mail address, and telephone number. It may include information collected from interviews, questionnaires, tax return organizers, financial statements, portfolios, and other correspondence between us. This information is confidential, will not be made available to unaffiliated third parties, and will be made available only as disclosed under this policy. The data collected will be relevant to the purpose for which it is used. Our Use of Your Information We use information in the files to provide you services under your engagement agreements and applicable consents. Where consented to we may share your information with the named AKT affiliated companies in order to anticipate potential financial opportunities, problems, and solutions. Our Disclosure of Your Information We do not disclose your information, except as permitted by law. Where other information (not tax return information) is to be disclosed to a third party or used for a purpose that is incompatible with the purpose for which it was originally intended or subsequently authorized, you may choose not to have your data shared as described under this policy.
